A large colonial desk in rosewood from Kerala. The rare single plank rosewood top has a pelmet along the sides and back. The arched frieze has typical sunburst craved elements and is flanked on either side by single drawers. These rosewood drawers have a contrasting cedar wood trim and knob. This writing desk sits on turned tapered legs.
