A unique British colonial bureau in Burma teakwood with rosewood details. The multi-levelled top has a bevelled mirror, original ceramic tiles, two small drawers and rosewood inlay. There is a slanted writing platform that flips open to reveal storage for stationary and writing equipment. This bureau has the original brass straps and carved brass handles. The center frieze is flanked with single drawers on either side.
